Laundry Time!

Ok, heres a confession for you. I ABSOLUTELY HATE AND DESPISE doing laundry!!! So, at any given moment in our house there is at least one pile of dirty laundry, clean and unfolded laundry and/or clean, folded, but not yet put away laundry around our house. I would rather scrub toilets all day than do a load of laundry. I finally did a load of laundry, folded it and planned on putting it all away when the girls woke up. I set the basket of folded laundry on a chair in the dining room and went to get the girls. I brought them down, gave them their juice and then answered my ringing phone. THREE MINUTES later, this is what I found

What really cracks me up is that they each put on two necklaces before they had their way with the laundry! Hmmm, maybe they're on to something.... could laundry be more fun while wearing lots of jewelry? I'll have to try that.

I think my favorite thing is Lyla's expression: "Aww, snap! We've been caught!" versus Pressley's expression: "Whaa? Oh, a camera? CHEESE!"I think they're on to something with this whole idea of wearing bling while doing laundry!

Hmmmm, seems to me my girls loved to play in the clean laundry. You might recall photos of you and Lorren playing with underwear around your necks, Dad's T shirts trailing to the ground, etc. But you girls never wore necklaces when you ransacked the basket! Too, adorable!

I was gonna' offer to let you clean our toilets while I do your laundry, but Susan beat me to it.

I love the girls expressions, it's so them.
