Trying to be crafty...

I have always loved being crafty! I usually end up spending a ton of money on a craft I think I would enjoy and then never give it the attention it deserves (I have a whole closet FULL of scrapbook stuff that I've NEVER used!!). Well, now that I respect my $$ a little (ok, a LOT) more, I knew that if I made the investment I had to complete my crafts! And I'm so glad I have!! I've had so much fun and I think they've turned out quite well... if I must say so myself.

Here is a bib I made for Pressley (well, I didn't make the bib, I just personalized it!)

Here is a close-up of the applique and my hand stitching. I have a sewing machine, but am not very good at it yet!! Hopefully I can learn to operate my sewing machine better and stop the hand stitching, which can be a pain. Although, I do like the look of the hand stitching.

And here is a onesie I made (personalized) for Lyla.

Of course, Lyla also has a bib and Pressy also has a onesie. My girlies gotta match!

jo. These look great. The handstitching really makes it. I know it takes a lot of time but it really adds some great character.

love the arts and crafts. I love to scrapbook, but that's about as far as my talent goes. The onsies and bibs are going to look so cute on :)

btw: love the new header

Those are absolutely awesome. They look cuter than anything I've seen in a store and since they're wearing bibs all the time, that's important! I'll have to have you give me some pointers. I'm the WORST at taking up a hobby and then losing interest in it. Granted, I kind of cycle through the beading, scrapbooking, painting, knitting thing... Just realized, lots of that will come in handy for Bernie, too!
